Larry Rowe started Affordable Concrete Restoration in 2014 with a simple idea: do the dirt work and the concrete yourself, charge a fair price, and tell people the truth. More than a decade later, that's still the whole business.

Large driveways are the specialty, but the same care goes into every patio, slab, wall, and site prep job across North Alabama — built for the region's expansive red clay, with proper compaction, reinforcement on chairs, and well-placed control joints.

The Affordable Groundwork Process
Site Eval
Larry visits the property, measures, checks the slope and soil, and talks through what you actually need — then gives you a free written quote, usually within 48 hours.
Excavate & Grade
We dig, clear, and grade to the right depth and slope, then compact the subgrade. No sub-contracted dirt work — Larry runs the equipment himself.
Form & Reinforce
Forms go in to grade, and rebar or mesh goes in on chairs — not flat on the dirt — sized to the slab and the load it has to carry.
Pour & Finish
Concrete is poured, screeded, and floated, then finished — broom, smooth, stamped, or stained — with control joints cut at the right spacing.
Cure & Clean-Up
The concrete cures on its schedule, we clean up the site, and we walk you through the finished job. Care instructions so it lasts.
